Judge Rupert E. Ruppert of the Franklin Municipal Court will soon be implementing a drug and a mental health docket. The plan is to have both of the programs up and running by June. We will report whether or not an OVI offense will be allowed to be a case that can be set on the Drug Court docket. In most of the courts throughout Ohio, a DUI is not handled in the specialized docket, but it treated as a more serious offense requiring that it be heard on the regular court docket.
